BRIGHT Is Welcoming New Families in 2027!
Give your child a brighter start in 2027 with BRIGHT. This one-year programme journeys alongside families to strengthen children’s literacy, social-emotional development and confidence in learning, while equipping caregivers with practical ways to support their child at home. Expressions of interest are now open for families with children aged 7 to 9.

Recruitment is ongoing. Programme sessions are held weekly, with specific schedules shared with participating families.

City Square Mall and/or Kampong Kapor Family Service Centre
Note: Programme activities may be conducted at different community locations.
Brief Description
BRIGHT (Building Resilience, Igniting Growth, Harnessing Togetherness) is a 1-year programme supporting children’s literacy, social-emotional development, and learning at home. Through one-to-one literacy sessions, group activities and regular caregiver engagement, BRIGHT aims to help children grow in confidence while strengthening caregivers’ ability to support their learning and well-being.
We are currently welcoming new families who may benefit from additional support alongside the child’s schooling.
Target audience
Families with children aged 7 to 9 who:
- may benefit from additional support in literacy and social-emotional development.
- would benefit from greater confidence and engagement in learning; and
- have caregivers who are open to participating in regular conversations and activities to support their child at home.
Participation is subject to an initial conversation with the caregiver(s) and a literacy baseline assessment to better understand the child’s and family’s needs.
