KidSTART
KidSTART journeys with parents/caregivers with children 0 to 6 years old to build a strong relationship with their children, by co-creating parenting practices and approaches with families using evidence-based parenting strategies and child development knowledge.
What We Do
As the appointed Social Service Agency anchoring KidSTART in the Jalan Besar and Toa Payoh regions, we support eligible families with young children from 0-6 years old:
Home Visit Support
We conduct regular home visits to assess, guide and provide support to parents and children in parenting and child development in their home setting.
Multidisciplinary Support
We collaborate with community partners and multidisciplinary team from KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital (KKH) to support the family and address child development concerns.
Parent-Child Interaction
We plan and conduct activities with parents/caregivers’ inputs during home visits to facilitate parent-child interaction and promote parent-child bonding.
Eligibility
Families with Singapore citizen children 6 years old and below.
Has a gross monthly household income of $2,500 and below, or per capita income of $650 and below.
Families who reside in or have children enrolled in selected preschools within the Jalan Besar or Toa Payoh regions. Visit KidSTART.sg to find out about other KidSTART regions.
