SG Cares Volunteer Centre @ Jalan Besar
We were appointed by the SG Cares Office, Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth (MCCY), as the operator of SG Cares Volunteer Centre @ Jalan Besar in November 2020 as part of the SG Cares Movement.
By March 2022, all 24 towns in Singapore had an operational SG Cares VC to coordinate the development and deployment of volunteers and resources to meet community needs. This brings opportunities to donate and volunteer close to all, be it where we live, work, or study.

What We Do
We collaborate with partners in the community e.g., ground-up initiatives, religious and educational institutions, corporates, and community members to encourage volunteering efforts, nurturing a caring community within Jalan Besar town.
At SG Cares Volunteer Centre @ Jalan Besar, we focus on:
Talent Recruitment – building volunteer capacity for the Jalan Besar town
People Development – building volunteer capabilities for community partners and volunteers.
Community Matchmaking – facilitating partnerships between demand and supply partners at the town level.
