Start a Meaningful Career in Social Service
Offered by Kampong Kapor Community Services (KKCS), the Social Service Tribe Study Award provides students from qualifying courses with the opportunity to pursue a meaningful career in the social service sector.
Upon completing their studies, successful awardees will begin their careers with KKCS and contribute to our work with individuals, children and families in the community.
KKCS invites eligible candidates to apply for the Study Awards.
Application period: 1–31 August 2026
Supported Courses of Study
Applicants must be pursuing full-time studies at a recognised local institution in the following course:
Undergraduate Programme
- Social Work
Eligibility
The Social Service Tribe Study Award supports both full-term and mid-term applications.
Applicants must:
- Be a Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident intending to take up Singapore citizenship;
- Be a full-time student who has gained admission to a supported course at a recognised local institution;
- Not currently be a full-time employee of any organisation;
- Not currently be receiving any scholarship or sponsorship;
- Have a recommended GPA of at least 60%;
- For a mid-term Study Award, apply by the first semester of their final academic year.
Commitment
Awardees will have to serve a bond with KKCS after completing their studies. The bond duration depends on the type of Study Award.
